Shore Stones
Shore Stones is a simple crescent shawl mostly compromised of Garter stitch, with a lovely knit on lace border. Inspired by the textured shorelines at the coast. Layers and layers of stones, shells, driftwood, and big boulders creating a delicate but graphic border.

Small Span: 155cm / 62“. Depth: 42cm / 16 1⁄2”
Large Span: 225cm / 90” Depth: 58cm / 23”

(Sport; 100% Corriedale; 100g / 365y / 333m per skein.)
Small: Nobody Knows (green) (2 skeins) Large: Hey Moon (purple) (3 skeins)
Needles
4.5 mm / US 7 Circular needles – 80cm / US 5 – 32” length cable for working flat.
Always use a needle size that will result in the
correct gauge after blocking.
Gauge
20 sts / 34 rows over stocking stitch = 10cm/4” needles after blocking.
Notions: 2 Stitch Markers, darning needle.
Notes
This shawl is cast on from the top and increased at both edges and on both sides, until you reach the desired length, where you then work the knit-on border sideways, to finish. The shawl can be easily increased in size for personal preference.
