Casual yet easy to dress up, this is a perfect 3-season cardigan with 3/4-length sleeves. Originally published as a Classic Elite Yarns design, I’ve updated it in a finer yarn and added two larger sizes. The finer yarn is perfect for summer wear and the organic wool and cotton blend add just the right touch of warmth.
The body is worked back and forth in one piece from the bottom up, then divided at the armholes to work the fronts and back separately. The shoulders are shaped using wrap-and-turn short-rows. The sleeves are worked in the round from the cuff up to the armhole, entirely in the lace pattern. Once the underarm stitches are bound off, continue the lace pattern back and forth to shape the cap.
Narrow bands of garter stitch are added to finish off the front edges and neck.
