The Shoreline Shawl features earthy elements inspired by the beautiful beach shore, particularly the waves that wash over the sand and pebbles. The reverse stocking stitch waves evoke the gentle nature of a day spent at the beach. The shawl is a rectangle, which is knit in three parts. The shawl begins with a central patterned square. Wave ridges at the lower edge flow into the alternating sand and wave pattern. Pebble cables are worked from cast-on edge to cast-off border. The two wings are identical, featuring long lines of cable pebbles and the alternating sand and wave pattern. A contrasting color is gradually introduced towards the lower third.
