The Shoreline Shorts has amazing texture due to the addictive stitch that is simple yet so fun to complete! They can be whipped up quickly using CYC 3 yarn such as Sugarwheel Cotton Solids, but the pattern is made to measure, so you can choose to use any fiber you have on hand or want to use! I also made a second pair using CYC 4 cotton yarn - Lion Brand Pima Cotton! Yardage below is based on using DK/ CYC 3 yarn and making shorts 12” in length (sample was 11”).

The bottoms are made in 4 panels then seamed together. The waistband is included in construction and then folded over and seamed at the end. Optional materials needed: 1 inch elastic band - however you could crochet a drawstring alternatively!
