Inspired by southern coastal Maine where my family vacations every summer, the design of Shoreside Socks is fitting for both men and women. The pattern is written in 3 sizes for adults with adjustable foot length.

Shoreside Socks are worked from the toe up with German short row heel construction. The waves design consists of 12 rounds of easy to memorize pattern repeat. Please click on the following link for video references on certain techniques used in this pattern:

Finished Measurements and Yardage Requirements

• circumference: 7 (8.25, 9) in 17.75 (21, 23) cm
• length (from heel to cuff): 8 in (20 cm) (or to desired length)
• yardage (approx): 261 (288, 313)

The amount of yarn required depends on the foot length that you make. The yardage requirement above is only a general reference, and not the actual amount needed.
