Now I don’t know why anyone would want a hat that doesn’t cover their ears and barely stays on their head, but my brother wanted one and I couldn’t find a pattern; so, based on the styles he suggested I came up with a simple pattern.

The pattern is knit in the round from the bottom up. A simple 1 x 1 rib makes the brim and then stockinette for the (limited length of) body and the crown. Finally the crown decrease create a mild left spin effect.
