This little outfit is perfect for dolls who like to play outside or work in the garden or on the farm during the warm months of the year.

I believe an experienced or very confident beginner knitter will be able to work this pattern. You will need basic knitting skills, and some easy sewing is also required.

A tutorial in pictures and text on how to cast on extra stitches to extend a row after it has already been worked several times is included.

The item(s) made with this pattern were meant to fit an 18-inch American Girl doll, as shown in the pictures. However, they will also fit similar dolls, such as Our Generation, My Life As, and others. I added a sizing chart to the pictures, to help you compare your dolls to the American Girl dolls.

For this pattern I used:

~ Mainstays 100% Acrylic yarn, 4-medium in the color Teal

~ Mainstays 100% Acrylic yarn, 4-medium in the color White

You can use any other 4-medium worsted weight yarn you choose.

~ Knitting needles size: US 8 - 5.00 mm

~ Size 5.5 mm crochet hook, which is only needed for the pockets. You could knit those as well if you prefer
