This simple pattern works up in a flash! Using a chunky yarn and size 10.5 ( 6.5mm) needles, cast on provisionally, work sideways in garter stitch until most of the yarn is used up, then graft ends together. A 3-needle bindoff also works but grafting is less obvious.
Use the whole skein and if needed, you can customize it by working more or less rows.
