This scarf uses short rows to make a triangle shape.

For the 2 color scarf shown in the picture you will need:
3.5mm (E) crochet hook
330 yards of dark color yarn in a sport weight
265 yards of light color yarn in a sport weight.
It will make a scarf that is about 9 inches wide and 64 inches long. Because this scarf is done in repeats it is simple to make it longer if you have extra yarn.

You could also make this scarf with:
2.5mm crochet hook
440 yards of dark color yarn in fingering weight
360 yards of light color yarn in fingering weight.
This will make a scarf that is 7.5 inches wide and 70 inches long.

For a thicker scarf use:
4.5mm crochet hook
425 yards of dark color yarn in DK weight
328 yards of light color yarn in DK weight.
This will make a scarf that is 10 inches wide and 70 inches long.
