Materials:

  • Elastic thread to weave through the waistband. + needle to weave in thread.
  • 2 colours of sports weight yarn. I used Edeweiss Alpaca 6-ply from Kremke Soul Wool.
  • 3mm circular needles 60cm or 80cm
  • 4mm circular needles 60cm or 80cm

meterage/ Yardage: : 350 - 350 - 350 - 350 - 350 - 350 - 500 - 500 grams of Kremke Soulwool Edelweiss 6-ply.

Techniques
Broken Rib (Knit 1, Purl 1 for one round and then knit 1 round)
Stockinette stitch. (Knit all over the round)
M1L: Make one left-leaning increase
M1R: make 1 right-leaning increase

Gauge: 22sts x 35 rows in broken rib on 4 mm needles.

The soft serve shorts are working starting at the waistband and then working down the “body” while increasing. Then when the correct amount of sts is reached, the body is split in 2 legs and they are worked until they reach your preferred lenghth.
