YARN, GAUGE AND MACHINE:  A standard or Passap machine using Tamm Trenzi yarn gets 28 stitches 44 rows =4” at  about stitch size 6 for Japanese machines, 5 for Passaps. In general, rib stitch size is  main stitch size minus 2-3 whole numbers but use the size that works best with your machine to get the ribbing you like.  A ribber or some 2 bed setup is required.
