I have designed this easy crochet boho bag using basic crochet stitches in US terminology of chains, single crochet, half double crochets and double crochet stitches so it is not complicated but still has an overall affect of looking fabulous. For UK and Australian crocheters there is a separate stitch conversion chart for you.

This pattern is very easy to follow with a 19 page step by step guide showing large images at each stage written in my unique style of plain English so it easy to follow and understand. I have designed the bag in three pieces. A front and a back section, which are identical, and a long circular piece which forms the strap. The strap wraps around both sides of the bag giving it strength and durability. For this pattern I have used a 10 ply chunky cotton/acrylic but I have also made this bag in a 12 ply cotton and it looks just as good but will be a little larger.

MATERIALS

CROCHET HOOK: METRIC: Size 5.00mm, USA: 8/H, UK: Size 6

I used 4 x 100g balls of 10 ply cotton yarn for this bag. Any yarn that is a 10-12 ply approximately cotton or cotton blend would be suited to this project. Please take into account if you are buying a 50g ball you will need approximately 8 balls of yarn.

SIZE

Overall Drop Including Handle : 65cm (handle can be lengthened or shortened).

Width Of Bag: 32cm (This measurement was taken while bag was flat).

Depth Of Bag Middle: 32cm (This measurement was taken while bag was flat).
