The Shoulder Season Cowl will keep you toasty in chilly climes and is the perfect extra layer. This cowl is knit from the top down using two contrasting colors of yarn. Making Tracks, our variegated marled yarn, changes color throughout the various motifs for a stained glass effect and Farm Fresh, spun with wool from local farms, makes a cozy canvas for all that color. As the pattern designer Ann says, “Save Oil, Wear Wool!”.

Yarn required: Farm Fresh - 2 skeins of a color/fiber content of your choice (420 yards) and Making Tracks - 1 skein of a contrasting colorway of your choice (210 yards)

Suggested needles: Circular needles: US7 4.5mm / 18 and 24 inches 40 and 60 cm
