Shoulder Shawl
“This is a modern version of the old hap shawls, worn by all women in the Northern Isles for generations. It is ideal to throw over your shoulders when the temperature drops.”
The pattern calls for 600 yards of a main colour, and 40 yards each of two contrasting colours, all 4-ply.
The pattern is adaptable, with alternate centre stitch patterns and lace border patterns suggested.
