Local yarn shops play an important role in the knitting community. Not only do they provide a selection of beautiful yarns that we can see and touch in person, but they also give us a place to connect with fellow crafters, learn new skills, and perhaps get a little help when a project goes awry. This shawl was designed to celebrate the vital place that yarn shops have in the knitting community and all the wonderful things we’ve gained from them.
