Celebrate warm weather and brighten up any room with the lightweight Showers and Flowers Afghan.

This is an easy crochet pattern with easy-to-follow instructions and a pattern repeat that’s easier than it looks but will leave you with a beautiful finished piece, sure to stun all those who see it. Although this pattern was originally made with a long-striping cake yarn, the design would be well-complimented with any color combination or even solids.

To make the afghan as the size depicted in the pattern (49.5x61.5”), you’ll need approximately 2460-2600 yards of a DK weight acrylic yarn. Featured is Lion Brand Mandala in colorway Poseidon and this pattern took a little over 5 skeins. There are notes included in the pattern which explain how to change the width and/or the length of your finished piece. Other required tools are a USH8/5.00mm hook, tapestry needle, and scissors.
