Shreds of Fog
Shreds of Fog is a quick and easy to knit hat, great for beginner knitters or gift knitting.
It features a very elegant textured pattern which is so fun to knit.
I found a certain resemblance of all these lines of slipped stitches with the shreds of fog in the early morning when you can barely see a thing around, only those fluffy shreds of clouds flying in the air…
The hat is knitted in the round from the brim upwards on a short circular needle. Switch to double-pointed needles when needed or use the magic-loop technique using a longer cable.
This hat features a deep brim in 1x1 ribbing that is worn folded back.
The textured pattern is charted only.
Size: 1 (2, 3)
Brim circumference of finished hat: approx. 45 (50, 54) cm / 17 ¾ (19 ¾ , 21 ¼ ) ‘’.
The finished hat will fit head sizes approximately: 50 (55, 59) cm / 19 ¾ (21 ¾ , 23 ¼ ) ” to be worn with 5 cm / 2” of negative ease.
