This sweater is not only sweet and pink, it’s also very stringently designed according to the motto ‘form follows function’. The eyelets aren’t embellishment, they’re functional; they increase the body to a gentle A-line shape.

And then the sleeves and hem are, not so stringently, embellished with those same eyelets…..:-) It’s knit in the round, bottom-up, with set-in sleeves that are knit separately to ensure perfect fit and stability. It’s bordered with garter, including the picked-up and knit neckband.*

Gauge: 22 st and 36 rows in pattern in the round.
Needles: 3 and 2.75/2.5 mm 32” circular needles; I use Addi Turbos.
