Shrioche Socks
Have you been wanting to try out Brioche? The Shrioche Socks are a toe up shorty sock featuring 1 color brioche along the foot and leg, making it the perfect project for mastering this technique.
Brioche is easier than it appears, especially 1 color brioche. All you need to know are yarn overs, knits and purls, and you’re good to go! This pattern also comes with a video tutorial to help guide you!
This Toe Up, DK sock also features my Short Cut Heel, a heel construction that requires No Short Rows!
Pattern Notes:
Yarn/Yardage: Sample was knit out of Baby Bee Sweet Delight: Prints ( 75% acrylic, 25% polyamide; 115 grams per 377 yards) in the Kitty color way. Any 40 (50, 60) grams of DK yarn will be enough for size 1 (2, 3).
Gauge: 24 stitches by 32 rounds over 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Needles: 32-40 inch/80-100 centimeters circular needle for magic loop in size U.S 4/3.5mm. Or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: Scissors, yarn needle
Sizes: There are 3 sizes in the pattern, and the differing instructions for each are written as 1 (2, 3). Each size will give you a foot circumference measuring 7 (8, 9) inches/18 (20, 23) centimeters.
