DESIGN IDEA
This is supposed to be a modern shrug/bolero - perfect for city strolling on colder autumn days or cozy snuggles at home.
It is knitted flat as a rectangle, then folded in the middle and sewn together to form the arm holes.
The pattern stitch is fun and easy to memorize and creates an interesting bubble-texture on the RS and a wave-texture on the WS. This makes the shrug/bolero reversible.

SKILL LEVEL 

Intermediate.
You should know how to cast on, knit, purl, yarn over, purl multiple times in one and the same stitch and how to knit multiple stitches together.

PATTERN 

The pattern includes row-by-row instructions, a pattern stitch chart and an overview how to sew the bolero together.

SIZES 

Adults XS-M (approx. width 90cm/35´´ - height 70cm/28´´)
Adults L-XL (approx. width 100cm/40´´ - height 80cm/32´´)
Please note - this shrug/bolero can easily be customized to fit any individual size. Instructions how to do so are given in the pattern.

of Fingering + Lace weight yarn held together

Please note - the sample is knitted with Fingering weight Alpaca yarn held together with Mohair Lace. However you could also use DK weight yarn instead.
