Siamese Twins
This uniquely constructed shawl consists of two asymmetrical shawls that are joined during knitting (using the short-row technique) and consolidated by a common edging.
Recommended yarn:
Fingering weight / 4-ply, 350 m/100 g (383 yds / 3.5 oz)
Approximate yardage: 700 m (766 yds).
Needles: circular knitting needles US 4 – 3.5 mm
Additionally:
• #6 beads (if desired)
• Steel crochet hook 0.5 mm for adding beads
• Crochet hook 3.5 mm (USE-4) for binding off
The 23-page pattern contains detailed instructions, a schematic, overview and detail charts, stripe instructions and other helpful hints for yarn substitution and color modifications. The stitch pattern is not written out row-by-row - you need to be able to read charts in order to make this shawl.
