Siccar Point Socks
These are, in essence, simple top-down 2x2 ribbed socks, with the ribbing all around the leg and on the top of the foot. The difference is that here six alternative versions of the 2x2 rib pattern are included. One of the six patterns is chosen at each colour change in the self-striping yarn – the decision of which one of the six to use is made by rolling a die.
The digital edition of the magazine is available now here.
The colourway used in the sample, in Sirdar Heart and Sole, is Skippy 0050. Note that the yarn used is by Sirdar, not by Red Heart.
