This elegant, textured shawl is crocheted entirely in slip stitches, so it has a great drape. The pattern repeat is easy to memorize, the lace rows give a little interest. The shawl is worked in rows, from side to side.

The pattern includes written instructions, a chart and step-by-step photo tutorials for the stitches used and for decreases and short rows. If you have never done slip stitch crochet before, I recommend to practice before you start with the shawl. Keep in mind to work very loosely and when in doubt, choose a larger hook.

size: The shawl in the pattern photographs measures about 1 m x 85 cm. You don’t have to commit to a size when you begin, just work until the shawl is the length you like or until you run out of yarn.
