This open-neck cardigan has a couple of tricks up its sleeve: it buttons down its longer-than-the-front back and the body is worked as one piece from side to side. The 3/4 sleeves are made separately before seaming to the garment.

TENSION
14 sts and 26 rows to 10cm, (4in) over garter stitch on 6mm needles or the size required to give correct tension.
18 sts and 24 rows to 10cm, (4in) over stocking stitch on 5mm needles or the size required to give correct tension.
Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
