Sideline Shawl
Wrap up in your favorite colors. This simple color block shawl lets your yarn take center stage with squishy garter stitch and contrasting I-Cord edging.
This shawl is knit from end to end, increasing to the center of the shawl, then decreasing down to the end of the shawl. Style one maintains a 50/50 split of the shawl down the center, and style two splits the shawl into color quadrants. To finish, a contrasting I-Cord is applied.
Size:
This shawl can be knit to any size. Pattern includes directions for a full-size 68 inches (173 cm) and mini shawlette 30 inches (76 cm). If knitting to a different size, instructions are given to calculate amount of yarn needed for the I-Cord.
Yarn Requirements:
Full Size:
MC: 100g fingering weight sock yarn
CC: 100g fingering weight sock yarn
Mini:
MC: 25g fingering weight sock yarn
CC: 25g fingering weight sock yarn

Notions:
2 removable stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, a kitchen scale is useful in determining yarn usage if you do not have extra of either color.
Accessibility:
