This camisole is my interpretation of summer knitting: quick, easy, soft, and breathable. It is worked flat in two pieces which are then joined together. The straps are knitted separately and sewn in place.
The garment is knitted sideways, which means you go from the center of the back to the center of the front on each side. This construction serves this design in two ways: “vertical” stripes have never been so easy to achieve! And it allows for a 3 needle bind-off at the centre of the back and front, creating a beautiful design feature.

This top is designed to have 5-10 cm / 2-4 in negative ease. In pictures, it is shown in size 2 on a 88 cm / 34.5 in bust.

Note: 2 skeins of CC is just enough for this pattern!

Main needles: 3.75 mm / US 5 needles (circular or straight).
A set of 3 US 5 / 3.75 mm DPNs for the 3 needle bind-off and to put sts on hold.

Notions:
F-5 crochet hook.
Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
Scrap yarn for provisional cast on.
4 removable markers.

Gauge:
18 sts x 32 rws to 10 cm / 4 in on 3.75 mm / US 5 needles in stockinette stitch.
