Cables are usually the knitters domain. I found some crochet cable hat patterns but they were all going in the same direction and didn’t have any OOMPH! I came up with this pattern and I absolutely love it.

The yarn used is readily available and highly recommended. This is for an intermediate crocheter only because of some of the stitches and terminology.

Instructions are clearly written and washing suggestion is also included.
