From the website:
How’s this for a new approach to knitting mittens? So EZ asked in 1972 (Wool Gathering #6) about her Sideways Mystery Mittens, and they are as surprising and fresh today as they were then. In addition to the clever design, because this mitten is ambidextrous, you can give them in threes-to those who are liable to lose a mitten. The pattern instructions are updated from Knitting Around. Mittens are knit in Ultra Alpaca. One skein makes two mittens.
