Ruffle yarns have opened up a new world of possibilities for knitters. This design uses Tamm Nordic or another light worsted for the main yarn and Red Heart Sashay for the ruffled hem. 1 skein will make most sizes.
YARN, GAUGE, SIZE AND MACHINE Use a light worsted yarn such as the Tamm Nordic with a gauge of 4.5 stitches/6 rows/inch. Finished hip sizes from 24 to 66 cover sizes from tiny tots to plus sized adults. One cone of Nordic and 1 skein of Sashay will knit most sizes. The Sizes above 54” hip would be wise to have an extra skein of Sashay on hand as the yardage varies based on the exact Sashay yarn chosen.
