This pattern comes from my love of garter stitch - especially vertical garter stitch.

It’s a little more work than a stocking knitted in the round from top to bottom, but it is still a very quick and easy knit and the end result is worth it!

This design allows for a lot of individuality - playing with the yarn (solid, self-striping, variegated), the heel, toe and cuff.
