Sideways Style Jacket
Don’t you love Starbucks? Besides fantastic coffee, one can enjoy a fashion parade. This design is inspired by a great jacket that I spotted on another patron one day.
YARN, GAUGE, SIZE, FIT AND MACHINE
This pattern is written specifically with the Japanese standard gauge machine in mind. We use Micro-tamm yarn which is as thick as the machine will knit and knits at stitch size 10 for this design. That is not as difficult as one might imagine since the yarn is very soft. A Passap machine can actually make the design but it will be 3.5” shorter than if made on a Japanese machine, due to the 180 needle maximum. Passap knitters would use N and black strippers throughout. To get the identical design, you’ll also need to know how to work single bed fair isle for the bands. Alternatively, Passap knitters may prefer to use plain circular hems knitted hems using CX/CX.
