This pattern has a fair amount of ease to allow for easy arm movement.
The striped version is meant to fit up to 4 yrs but it makes a snug shrug on my 6 yr old mannequin.
Its best design feature, I think, (but I’m biased) is its adaptability to any body type.
Whether you have a broad back or an ample bosom, you get to choose how the fabric drapes over your body before committing to anything permanent.
The original three (sizes A, C and D) were knit in acrylic which makes them great for keeping you warm and they stay where they are put.
The next size I knit (size B) was in Berroco Indigo, which has much more drape and would probably be more beneficial for larger sizes.

In case you would prefer drapier yarns, the actual lengths of yarn used were as follows:
A - 155m
B - 214m
C - 360m
D - 580m
E - 880m
F - 1015m
