Sidewinder is an elegant, infinity style cowl that takes the signature stitch patterns for my whole Dune collection to provide trails of soft meandering cables reminiscent of the pattern a sidewinder makes as it glides over a dune.

This design is full of life and movement and looks great on everyone, can be knitted by anyone and is perfect for gifting to yourself or someone else. It’s certainly a fun, relaxing project that is a great introduction to cabling, but also has enough to satisfy more seasoned knitters.

Using DK alpaca yarn, although any DK yarn would work well, this versatile cowl is light, warm and long enough to be styled in three ways. But however you choose to wear it, one thing is for sure, this is a fabulous addition to any autumn/winter wardrobe.
