Sidewinder
The pattern is currently not available!
When I saw the yarn, I rembered the skin of a beautiful snake I saw one day at a reptile exhibition and I had the idea to create a pattern that should illustrate the lines some sidewinding snakes draw into the desert sand. I added a snake pattern and some edging spikes in reminescence to the pair of spines some desert snakes have on their heads.
The shawl is made in four sections:
- the inner body with Luminosa in garter stitch with short rows,
- a border with Tetsu added to the body as you go,
- again a border with Luminosa with a simple lace pattern, stitches are taken from the Tetsu border
- an edging with Tetsu that will give a bit of 3-dimensionality.
The pattern is available as a kit: www.dibadu.de
