Note:
Gauge is not crucial for Sidney. The size of your snail may vary depending on the weight of the yarn and the size of the hook you use. So, if you use thicker yarn, the Sidney will become bigger and with thinner yarn, it will be smaller. To avoid holes, where the filling is showing through, you should use a smaller hook than the smallest recommended hook for your yarn.

This pattern is only for the basic Sidney, the Snail. The add-ons (spikes, bow, plaster) are NOT included in this pattern. You can find the pattern for the add-ons as a free download here:
