Siembra reminds me of a recently sowed patch of land which promises an abundant season. This cowl is knitted using pearl brioche, stockinette, garter and eyelet stitch. It is very fluffly, that’s why I recomend you to use a soft and squishy yarn. This is a one-skein project that you could finish over a weekend, on a long bus trip or during some short holidays.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL
Medium.

It would be helpful if you already have a grasp on brioche stitch.

It requires a bit of concentration while you work the pearl brioche section, so make sure that you keep track of your progress.

SKILLS REQUIRED
Knit, purl and yarn overs; casting on and binding off; knitting on the round; stockinette and garter st on the round; pearl brioche stitch on the round; (but if you haven’t tried before this is a good project to start. I include some written instructions).

Materials and notions

1 skein of Vidalana Ambient Worsted by Knitcrate (100% wool, 100g, 201yds/184m
US4/3.5mm circular needles (60cm) or sixe needed to obtain gauge (read note on needles)
1 yarn needle for weaving in ends.

Siembra me recuerda a un pedazo de tierra recién sembrado que promete un temporada de abundancia. Este cuello se teje con los puntos perla brioche, jersey, correteado y encaje simple de lazadas. El tejido con punto brioche es muy esponjoso, por eso te recomiendo que uses un hilado suave y blandito. Este es un proyecto de un solo ovillo que podrías terminar a lo largo de un fin de semana, en un viaje en bus muy largo o en unas pequeñas vacaciones.

Será de mucha ayuda si ya tienes un acercamiento al punto brioche. Si no lo has hecho, investiga un poco antes.Tejer este cuello requiero un poco de concentración mientras tejes la sección del punto perla brioche, así que asegúrate de ir registrando tu progreso para no perderte.

HABILIDADES REQUERIDAS
Punto derecho, punto revés, lazadas; urdir y cerrar puntos; tejido tubular con palillos circulares en punto jersey y correteado; punto perla brioche tubular (pero si no lo conoces, incluyo una breve descripción escrita).

MATERIALES Y HERRAMIENTAS
1 ovillo de Ambient Worsted de Vidalana (Knitcrate) (100% lana, 100g = 184 metros)
Palillos circulares US4/3.5mm con cable de 60cm o el grosor necesario para obtener la muestra. (Lee la nota sobre los palillos más adelante)
1 aguja de lana para esconder las hebras.
