ABOUT PATTERN:
Sierra Balaclava is a fluffy mohair hood for the cold months.
The gradient stripes make this a fun project to use up your leftover mohair stash.
This pattern does not tell you what colors to use or how often to change them. This is meant to inspire you to make your own unique combinations.

SUGGESTED YARN:
100 g of lace weight silk mohair
Knit with 4 strands held together.
The sample balaclava is worked with 6 colors. Mostly leftovers from Pearl Mohair, MAJO GARN, 210 m = 25 g
GAUGE:
20 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 in in stockinette stitch
SUGGESTED NEEDLES:
3 mm US 2.5 / 40 & 60 cm 16 & 24 in circular needles
4 mm US 6 / 40 & 60 cm 16 & 24 in circular needles
ADDITIONAL:
Stitch marker
Tapestry needle
Row counter (I.e. Free app called ‘Minimalist Stitch Counter’)
