Sierra Cabled Beanie
This is a crochet pattern for an adult sized hat. The pattern is worked in the round, using post stitches to create the ribbing and the cables. It works up quickly and offers variations to fit your style, whether you want a slouchy beanie with a pompom or a messy bun hat. The one available size will stretch to fit a variety of sizes from adult to older child.
Sizing: The finished size should be approximately 18” around by 8” tall (for the regular beanie).
Gauge: 12.5 sts and 14 rows = 4 inches in single crochet
Materials:
- 170 yards of worsted weight yarn (example is shown in Lion Brand Keppi, which is discontinued. If you happen to be using this yarn, cut out the fuzzy parts and rejoin the yarn as you work.)
- US size H/8 (5.00 mm) crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Pompom (optional)
