Sierra Wall Hanging
GOOD NEWS! The jury of The Crochet Awards has nominated my Sierra Wall Hanging and Sunwheel Dreamcatcher patterns for the 3rd Quarter Awards of 2015! Although I didn’t win, I’m very happy about the nomination. Here are the winners: Crochet Awards 3rd Quarter of 2015 Winners.
I was inspired by the simple beauty of macrame wall hangings to design this crochet version.
You can create a beautiful piece of art with this pattern. And it’s done in just 7 rows! Plus repetitions of the last row :).
In addition to the cotton yarn (worsted, or fingering held double), you will need 2 wooden sticks about 30cm (12in) and 25cm (10in) long (or any desired length), 5 wooden beads (or more, or none, according to your taste), and a dye bath if desired (I used water and a few drops of purple ink).
