Sierra's Lacy Tunic
This is a modified version of Erin Kate Archer’s Cancun Lace Boxy Top. I have changed the original pattern so that it is knit in one piece, starting at the underarms, going up and over the shoulders, connecting front and back at the underarms, then knit in the round to the desired length. There is no seaming required. It can be knit as cropped, blouse or tunic length, in a variety of yarn weights and/or fibers, such as cotton or linen for a summer top, or wool as a winter vest. Directions are given to adapt to your yarn, your gauge and your size. Lacy Stitch panels can be knit in any order desired, with 4 rows of garter separating each panel. Once you are knitting the body (in the round), you can check the length by trying on your garment. You just put the stitches on a waste yarn and try it on. You can keep knitting or stop whenever you want.
