Sigge’s hat is as warm and fuzzy as it looks. Mixing a stiff yarn with a soft silk and mohair yarn means it keeps its shape while staying soft at touch.

Now adapted for adults so you can have one too! I’ve modified the original slightly so it looks nicer on a grown up. Mix it with a poppy pink scarf or something peachy. Or black, you can never go wrong with black, ask any Swede and they can testify! Jokes aside.

The brim length is adjustable.

Techniques involved: It uses twisted rib stitch and stockinette stitch. Decreases are K2TOG and SSK and there is a German Short Row stitch in there - nothing complicated.

Small - 55 cm head circumference
Medium - 57 cm head circumference
Large - 60 cm head circumference
