EDIT: please note that there has been a small change in the pattern. I’ve adjusted the finish, so that after you have 7 stitches in-between the decreases, you start decreasing every round, and not every other round lie it was written before. This will make the hat less pointy.

Sigge’s hat is as warm and fuzzy as it looks. Mixing a stiff yarn with a soft silk and mohair yarn means it keeps its shape while staying soft at touch.

The brim length is adjustable.

The pattern is easily rewritten to fit bigger sizes.

It uses twisted rib stitch and stockinette stitch. Decreases are K2TOG and SSK.
