The instructions include details for adding the bow and trim with gross grain ribbon or making your own fabric bow. Printable sewing patterns for the bow are included. The sewing pattern provides the full size pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions. The trim and bow are so easy to make, they can be sewn by hand! No sewing machine necessary.

This pattern does require some hand sewing for either bow.

Materials Needed:
US size E/4 (3.50 mm) crochet hook
60 yards #5 worsted weight yarn
1 stitch marker, hairpin, or safety pin
Ruler
Plastic yarn needle or blunt tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
4” x 14” piece of woven fabric OR at least 20” of 5/8” wide Ribbon
Hand sewing needle and thread to match fabric or ribbon
Scissors

Chalk pencil, water soluble marker, or other fabric marking tool (for fabric-trimmed version only)
