DESCRIPTION
“Sigridur” is a delicate lace shawl with symmetrical triangular ends, a garter stitch border, and a central panel that breaks the monotony and structures the design. Knitted with Lace weight yarn, Sigridur is extremely soft and light, yet warm and enveloping.
Conceived and created during a trip to Iceland, it evokes the softness and color of the moss covering the lava fields, and its Icelandic name immediately appeared to me as obvious.

In the pattern, you will find 2 different versions of the lace pattern: the original one (green) and a simplified one (white with speckles) without garter stitch in the chevrons.

Notions: markers if you use them for the pattern repeats, tapestry needle and scissors.

Knitted flat in garter stitch on 3.5mm / 4US needles and measured after blocking: 26sts x 41 rws = 10cm x 10cm = 4 x 4 in

DESCRIPTION
Sigridur est une étole en dentelle délicate avec des pointes triangulaires symétriques à chaque extrémité, une bordure en point mousse et un panneau central qui rompt la monotonie et structure le design. Tricotée en fil d’épaisseur Lace, Sigridur est extrêmement douce et légère et cependant bien chaude et enveloppante.
Pensée et réalisée lors d’un voyage en Islande, elle rappelle la douceur et la couleur de la mousse qui recouvre les champs de lave et son prénom islandais m’est tout de suite apparu comme une évidence.

Dans le patron, vous trouverez 2 versions pour la dentelle: la version originale (verte) et une version simplifiée sans point mousse dans les chevrons (blanche à speckles)

Aiguilles circulaires : 3.5 mm (80cm de câble)
Petit matériel : anneaux marqueurs à volonté pour les répétitions de motif, aiguille à laine, ciseaux.
