Unique features
This pattern is easy to knit and will show you how to create a fitted hat in pretty garter stitch. Lovely and cosy! This hat features a large cute pom pom on the top and two long tie cords with a smaller pom pom attached to each cord.

This pattern allows you to easily adjust the length of the cords if you require shorter cords. It is also unique in that the whole hat including the tie cords is knitted all in one fabric piece! Knit it up in any pretty colour you like!

Finished item size
Laid flat at widest point (un-stretched) – 27cm. Height from the base of the ear flaps to the top of the hat including the pom poms - 35cm. Cord lengths including pom poms – 66cm.

Shade 237 (Blubell).
65mm Diameter Pom Pom Maker.
85mm Diameter Pom Pom Maker.
(I recommend Clover Brand Pom Pom makers as they are a wonderful time saver).
9mm circular needles.
Round end small tapestry needle.

Skills needed to complete this item
Cast-on/Cast-off, Knit, Purl, Yarn over needle, Decrease by knitting stitches together.
