ENGLISH

Silene is a top down sweater with a round yoke and flower motif. The body has an A line shape that flatters any silhouette. The sleeves are 3 quarter length but you can knit them longer if you prefer.

GAUGE : 18 sts & 26 rounds for 4 in. / 10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round after blocking. Check your gauge for a proper fit.

Finished bust measurements: 36 ½ (39 – 42 ½ – 45 ¼ – 48 ¾)in. / 93 (99 – 108 – 116 – 124) cm.
Yarn: approx.: 798 (875 – 962 – 1015 – 1090 – 1148) yards / 730 (800 – 880 – 930 – 1000 – 1050) meters of worsted weight yarn in MC and 164 yards / 150 meters in CC. shown in size L in Regal by Briggs and Little col. Copper as MC and Black as CC.
Needles: US 6 (4mm) DPNs and circular needle in 16 and 32 in. / 40 and 80 cm for garter stitch borders.
US 7 (4.5mm) DPNs and circular needle in 16 and 32 in. / 40 and 80 cm.

Silene se tricote de haut en bas depuis l’encolure – le corps évasé flatte toutes les silhouettes – les manches sont ¾ mais vous pouvez les tricoter plus longues si vous préférez.

Échantillon : 18 m et 26 rgs = 10 cm en jersey en round après blocage.

Tour de poitrine: 93 (99 – 108 – 116 – 124) cm.
Laine: approx.: 730 (800 – 880 – 930 – 1000 – 1050) mètres de laine dite « worsted » en CP et approx. 150 mètres en CS. Modèle tricoté en L en Regal par Briggs and Little col. Copper en CP et Black en CS.
