’Silent Movie’ is a fun bi-color shawl perfect for every day use. It is knit on bias in a simple garter stitch with a touch of slip stitches and eyelets.
It is made especially for Miss Babs in one of her most popular yarns Yummy 2-ply. Yummy comes in such great number of beautiful colours it is truly hard to decide! So why not make few versions to match your mood!

The shawl starts with just 3 stitches cast on, the series of increases and decreases give it a triangular shape. Colour changes come frequently with some slip stitch dashes to make knitting fun and interesting. Edges are kept neat thanks to 2-stitch i-cord.

For the sample I have used bright pink by the name of Cara Cara with contrasting dark Pewter grey. There are two skeins needed one of each colour. There are some left overs, but very little. If substituting preferably use yarn with greater yardage.
