Silfa Cardigan
This pattern has a beautiful balance of texture—a basketweave pattern on the body and stockinette stitch at the hems, waistline and sleeves. Featuring a button closure and a deep v-neck, this cardigan is perfect to throw over any outfit to add instant warmth this fall.
It’s completely seamless! The body is knit from the bottom up as one piece to the underarms, where the back and front are divided and knit separately to the shoulders. The shoulders are joined with a three-needle bind-off. The sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole edges, a little short-row shaping is worked to shape the caps, then they are knit down to the cuff—making it easy to adjust the sleeve length if needed.
