This simple crescent shawl is knit with two different yarn weights. The body is knit in a dk weight and the lace border in a heavier metallic worsted weight on larger needles.

The shawl is knit from the bottom up starting with the lace border and the body is worked using short row shaping.

412 yds of dk weight for body (with 4.0mm needles - 40” )

150 yds of metallic worsted weight for lace border
(5.0mm needles - 40”)
