Silk Camisole
Pattern description from Last-Minute Knitted Gifts: “This camisole is made with La Luz, an exquisite handspun, hand-dyed silk from Fiesta Yarns. It feels soft and lovely against the skin and it drapes so beautifully that the camisole doesn’t need any waist shaping to make it flattering. The straps are made directly from the top of each side, not sewn on, and then grafted onto stitches along the back, so they are very secure. The picot edge looks delicate at the V-neck but it is also utilitarian because it helps keep the neck in place while wearing. The lace stitch at the bottom of the camisole--a simple nine stitch repeat--adds an elegant touch and also makes the yarn go further! This camisole looks great worn alone as shown as well as over a silk slip dress or cotton tank top in a complementary color.”
